Sweet Surrender
Okay, no pictures for last night's event, since they didn't allow cameras at the Pond. So I'll have to make do with words. And what can I say? It was Sarah Mclachlan at her best. I had read before that she was a good live performer, but last night was the first time that I actually saw her in concert. I know I'm going to sound like an absolute fanatic, but how is it possible that someone can be pretty, charming, funny, and extremely talented (guitar, piano, vocals, music and lyric composition)? Is she even human?!And she had the most amazing set list last night. Not just the songs from her new album, but songs from her old albums (and a lot from Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, which I love) as well. And of course, my eyes got a little dewy when she sang Hold On. As expected.
Next time, I told Marc, we're going to be down there, in spitting distance from her. Amazing, amazing performer. Great set design, great visual effects too. I can't wait till she ends this tour, comes out with another album, and goes on tour again! Haha!
