Marvin the Paranoid Android
Marc and I watched The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy last night. I didn't expect the movie to be so popular but when we got to the Santa Monica promenade at 6:30 to catch the 7:45pm showing, the tickets were already sold out and there was a long line outside the theatre. We were hoping to make it an early night, but instead we ended up with tickets to the 10:20pm showing.The movie was really cute, but I knew that I appreciated it better because I had read the book and Marc hadn't. There were a lot of details in the movie that were explained more elaborately in the book - the need for towels, the actual hitchhiker's guide, etc. The movie didn't really say much about those things, even though they made the book more amusing and charming.
The cutest thing I found in the movie was Marvin the Paranoid Android, who Allan Rickman lent his voice to. Isn't he just the cutest (Marvin I mean, not Allan)?

I think you've got it backwards. If I were a girl, I would definitely marry Alan Rickman. Actually if I were to make a list of guys I'd go gay for, he'd be on it. That's how cool he is.

Okay - I don't have a clue who Pau is - but if he's a guy and he thinks Alan Rickman is attractive, then Pau is gay. (Have you seen ANY of the Harry Potter films? What about this guy says "marriage material?" -well, besides money and a great albeit scary voice)

Eep! I think Alan Rickman is the secksiest guy in the world....even if he is 42 years older than me....I'm more obessed with him that anyone I'll ever be ;-) I thought the movie was excellent, and Marvin was really cute *grins*
