Weekend Recap: San Jacinto

At last!!! I can phlog again. Verizon DSL was down yesterday, and I was flipping out big-time. Now it's back to normal.

So the past weekend, Joedie, Angela, Marc and I drove over to Mount San Jacinto for an overnight camp. We first went the touristy way - got on the Aerial Tram and oohed and aahed over the views. Then we went on a four-mile hike before checking into our campsite. In the evening, we simply hung out and played boardgames.

The next day, after having breakfast and packing up, Marc and I hiked up to Lily Rock in Tahquitz for a quick climb. I was a little disappointed that we weren't able to stay longer, but the climb was still great, and the view beautiful, as you can see in this picture.
