Flu :(

It's the day of my first trip to Yosemite, something I'd been looking forward to for the longest time, and I feel like I'm coming down with something. Actually, my muscles have felt sore since Monday, but I thought it was only because of climbing last weekend.

But in the last couple of days, the soreness has become different. It wasn't because of climbing - I was still able to climb pretty hard Wednesday night (flashed a 5.11a, yay!!) but it just seemed like I was still fatigued all over. It kind of reminded me of that time just before I got the flu when we first moved into our condo in West LA.

So it's been kind of iffy today, I've been seesawing between going and staying, but now there's no turning back. I seem to be feeling a little bit better, and maybe the rest of the bad toxins will go away with more sleep. Marc and Douglas will have to switch places driving because I plan on snoozing the whole way. So anyway I just called Cecile to give her the go signal, and she has bought food to feed everyone. So that's it, it's settled, I'm going. I need to hoard all the pills in the drugstores now to make sure I don't get sick before my first big day at my new job. I have homeopathic flu medicine, wellness pills, echinacea, Motrin, Tylenol, and a bunch of other vitamins that will supposedly make me feel better. It's going to get down to the 30s in Yosemite so I have to arm myself properly.

Wish me luck!
