Shopping Spree
My new "toys" that I can't wait to use:1. my fabulous JetBoil - I actually bought this right before our Half Dome hike in Yosemite, and being a girl, I couldn't wait to use it. I brought it on the hike but I just had my heart deadset on getting to the top that we didn't have time to stop and cook. On the way back, I just wanted to curl up in my sleeping bag and drift off to dreamland.... which brings me to:
2. my ultrawarm 0-degree Marmot sleeping bag, which I just got last night. I laid it out and stepped in and hung out in it a little in my living room. Of course I started feeling like a baked potato, so I had to give it up and put it away. Fall/winter camping, here I come! :)
3. my cute little Kelty camp pillow - to avoid having to lug around my bulky down pillows - not good for backcountry camping! :D
